Our "Science Project" has been preserved for over 2 years now, and the color is just as magnificent as it was when the leaves were picked! You can add to it any time. It’s like having a giant scrap book of "places visited" and "great memories"!!! Leaf collecting is fun for the whole family.
When you visit relatives, go on vacation or travel about, keep in mind that these are great places to find different types of trees with unique leaves. (Remember to ask for permission.)
You may also want to pick up a few "tree" books from your local library to assist you in identifying your leaves. Our book does not contain photographs necessary for determining each type (Birch, Maple, Oak) but rather provides the vital information for collecting leaves, help in assorting leaves according to type and preserving leaves with a brand new method.
Be sure to check out the Recommended "Links" Tab at the top of this page.
Book orders will receive an email with various other ideas for their leaves!

Copyright 2003
The Copyright to our book is available for purchase. Please contact us via our email at: Lake10440@aol.com Our book was written out of the need for a good leaf collecting and preservation method. We have taken our book to homeschool conventions and also sold it over the internet. We have donated hundreds of our books to homeschools, public schools, public libraries, Christian schools and homeschool organizations. Our desire was to "get our book out there, so the students could use it, whether Homeschool, Public, Private or Christian schools. We pray God is ultimately glorified through our book, as it was His answer to my prayer that led to the preservation method, which made our Science Project possible, and this book. God be with and bless you and yours! Darlene Lake
