Sing, Spell Read & Write -Phonics program. 1-800-321-TEACH  By Sue Dickson.  This is a 36-step program.  Program package contains a "Raceway student book, Teacher's Manual, Student Video, Teacher's Video, 17 Reading Books, Game Box with prizes, cards, chips, etc.",  to reinforce every learning step.  Great for starting in either grades K or 1.   If you order this program, make sure it has 17 reading books, 2 videos, Student Book and Teacher's Manual.  There are several Sing, Spell programs.   Also, before we started this program, there is a single book by this author, the "Go Book".  It's a preliminary book, to make sure your child knows the "Names" of the letters of the alphabet, upper and lower case, and also works a little with beginning sounds.  Your child also learns to write each upper and lower case letter correctly.  You can do a letter a day and be done in about a month, then go on to the complete phonics program with the Raceway Book.  (When my children were done with this program in grade K, they were reading out of Bob Jones University Second Grade Readers (the 2nd reader).   It's an incredible program and I highly recommend it.
